Participating in performance improvement activities designed to identify and resolve problems affecting patient care outcome and to improve quality of care.
Planning for and completing patient discharge including providing written home programs, patient/family teaching, referring for community services and ordering equipment. Communicating verbally and in writing with peers, patients, families, physicians, case managers, and all other personnel Pursuing professional educational growth through participation in continuing education courses, department inservices, and reading professional literature. Presenting inservices to staff on knowledge gained from courses attended and other resources. Maintaining knowledge of educational programs being presented to the community.
General Qualifications ">General Qualifications General Qualifications " > Masters Degree in Speech/Language Pathology. Must maintain current licensure in the State of Wisconsin to practice Speech/Language Pathology. Good human relations, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Willing to work both Inpatient and Outpatient Speech coverage Desired Qualifications ">Desired Qualifications Desired Qualifications " > Willingness to treat Pediatric caseload.
Experience in inpatient and outpatient hospital based care preferred.
