In concert with the Central Services team, the Supply Clerk is responsible for the effective and efficient re-supply of req! uested supplies, equipment, and linen. Supply Clerks perform their duties in one of two areas of Central Services: the central area and the de-central area. Working under the general supervision of supervisors and lead workers, this position works independently and exercises some independent judgment.

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Related experience preferred.
3. Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
5. Excellent phone skills.
6. Basic mechanical ability.
7. Ability to follow instructions.
8. Ability to keep accurate records.
9. Attention to detail.
10. Basic judgment and logic skills.
11. Knowledge of and ability to follow safety principles.
12. Basic mathematical skills.
13. Ability to differentiate colors.
14. Basic knowledge of computer applications, Microsoft Office preferred.
15.! Physical Requirements: Medium - Ability to lift up to 50 ! pounds maximum with frequent lifting/and or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Pay

This is a Represented position and falls into Pay Grade D. The salary range begins at $12.31 per hour. Education, experience, tenure and internal equity may be taken into consideration when job offers are extended.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 2:30pm to 11:00pm with rotating weekends & holidays
