Perioperative Nurse - Operating Room Nurse - (OR RN)
StartDate:! ASAP Available Shifts: 8 E, 8 D/E/N Pay Rate: $32.75 *
Need experience in busy OR. Multispecialty includes Neuro, General, Ortho, GU, GYN, Spine, ENT, Plastics, Vascular. No CV or pediatrics.
Must Have:
1. WI licensed*
Start Date: ASAP
SHIFT: M-F, 1 Nurse- 7AM-3:30PM, 1 Nurse 11AM-7:30PM, 2 Nurses 2PM-10:30PM.
Flexible start times, Call is needed.
The role of the perioperative nurse / operating room nurse (OR RN) is to provide care for patients before, during, and after surgery or surgical procedures. The OR nurse / OR RN also serves as patient educator, circulating nurse and/or scrub nurse, and potentially RN first assistant or operating room director with additional training. Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field; scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field. Perioperative nurses work in every type of hea! lthcare facility, including hospitals, ambulatory or outpatien! t surgery centers, and physician offices.
Required Qualifications
1. WI or compcat RN license.
2. Experience in busy OR, multispecialty includes neuro, general, ortho, GU, GYN, spine, ENT, plastic, vascular. NO CV or peds.
3. Circulate only is ok.
