The Department of Pediatrics at Gundersen Health System is seeking a full-time board certified/board eligible Pediatric Endocrinologist. A team approach is taken with diabetes patients, which includes certified diabetes nurse educators, nurse clinicians and a nutritionist. The Department of Pediatrics consists of a group of general pediatricians, a variety of pediatric specialists and associate staff. Our pediatric specialty areas include Allergy/Asthma/Immunology, Critical Care, Behavioral Health, Cardiology, Dentistry, Devel! opmental and Behavioral, Endocrinology, Genetics, Hematology/O! ncology, Neonatology, Surgery, Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Ophthalmology, and Orthopaedic surgery.
Pediatric inpatients are cared for on a 19 bed inpatient ward, 8+ bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and 4 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
