Triage Associate - TCP Oshkosh

Description: ThedaCare is currently seeking to employ Triage Associate - TCP Oshkosh right now, this position will be placed in Wisconsin. Working within the scope of practice, the Triage Associate provides comprehensive healthcare and clinical services centered around the unique needs of each patient according to the plan of care; the Triage Associate works with team members in a multi-disciplinary setting in order to meet the needs of patients, families, and significant others. The Triage Associate coordinates the services provided in a collaborative environment that supports meeting patient and family needs with efficient use of health care resources.

Essential J! ob Duties:

Performs skills and procedures as! per the department Triage Associate competency checklist.

Properly follows protocols established for Non-RN Triage Associates.

Provides quality, cost-effective care through individualization, mutuality, and coordination of health services that assure continuity of care.

Instructs the patient and significant others how to meet immediate health care needs, requesting assistance from Triage RN and MD as necessary, following physician protocols, or establishing appointments for physician to see the caller for further assessment.

Provides patient care that meets the growth and development, cultural diversity, and special needs appropriate to the patient population served.

Takes responsibility for own professional growth and development.

8 Providers, 5 Family Practice, 2 Mid-Levels, 1 Pediatrician. Variable days with start and end times varied. Clinic start would be 6:45a and end would be 6:1! 5p. Every 5th Saturday from 8:45-12:00p

Job Qualifications:

1-2 years prior experience as an MA, CMA, or LPN required. Triage experience is desired. Must be a Certified Medical Assistant or hold a current LPN license.
