We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Function Coordinator to support our Catering Teams at one of Melbourne’s largest accounts located in Melbourne Northern Suburbs
The Functions Coordinator is responsible for the daily client management of the function catering and deliveries. The scope of service delivery comprises of food preparation, coordinating and communicating with all stakeholders to ensure smooth running of catering bookings and food delivery. There is a requirement to assist with outside of hour’s functions and key events.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of various events
- Working closely with Head chef/Catering Manager to ensure all functions are delivered as per expectations in timely manner and as per requirements.
In addition, you can demonstrate:
- Experience within the hospitality industry
- Outstanding client service focus demonstrated by superior communication ability.
- Proven experience in managing a constantly changing and dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work at occasionally different hours throughout a Mon-Fri working week.
