Job Description:-
· To assist the Tender Manager in the preparation of the Financial Proposal.
· To assess the breakdown of construction costs down to the simple resources (i.e., materials, plant, manpower).
· To prepare the detailed breakdown of resources required to calculate the direct cost of any activity.
· To prepare a priced BOQ by consolidating the quantities calculated by the Quantity Surveyors and collecting the BOQ data from the MEP Department.
· To properly relay instructions to the Quantity Surveyors for the quantity estimates required in calculating costs.
· To compare and evaluate the various quotations received from various subcontractors/suppliers.
· To extract and analyze the major cost elements of any tender.
· To be able to discuss/present with Management/Client the cost calculations.
· To coordinate with the appropriate departments (i.e., procurement, site operations) for the collection of required cost and resources data.
Qualifications:-
· At least eight (8) years Gulf experience in the Construction industry.
· At least four (4) years cost estimation experience on Civil Works.
· Has worked with both horizontal/infrastructure and building projects.
· Hardworking and results-driven.
· Has the ability to work independently or with minimum supervision.
· Graduate of any Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Architecture course
· Good command of the English language
· High proficiency in Excel
· At least intermediate knowledge in AutoCAD.
· Knowledge on Candy Software (or any similar Estimation software) is a plus.
