The position will work from 9pm - 7am and will consist of a 7 on, 7 off schedule. The candidate must have prior hospital experience. A pharmD is HIGHLY preferred.
Description:
Under the supervision and evaluation of the Director of Pharmacy, the Night Pharmacist is a member of the interdisciplinary patient care team, available to deliver pharmaceutical care (direct, responsible provision of medication-related care for the purpose of achieving definite outcomes that improve a patient’s quality of life). This position provides 7/70 scheduling and provides care to patients of all ages.
Requirements:
Valid Wisconsin pharmacist license
1)Excellent oral and written communication skills.
2)Working knowledge of computer systems.
3)Maintains an ongoing professional development through continuing education, literature review, professional activities, and the demonstration of professional work behaviors and standards.
4)Knowledge of regulatory standards and state and federal laws related to medications.
5)Ability to deal with critically ill patients.

Salary is dependent on experience and shift differential is offerred.
