Telehealth RN

Job Summary: Responsible for providing telephonic clinical assessments utilizing approved medical protocols per policy . Recommends an appropriate level of clinical care based on clinical judgment and protocols. Acts as a resour! ce to assist in making decisions that include treatment and general health decisions, finding and choosing high quality and efficient providers and facilities. Tools such as referrals, company programs, customer resources/programs, educational resources, and clinical knowledge are used to assist members in their decision making.
Qualifications : Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program, combined with a minimum of 3 years of RN experience required, experience in ER, Primary Care, Pediatrics, OB or MH preferred. Coaching and/or decision support experience preferred and/or military experience a plus.
Candidates must be currently licensed or able to obtain RN licensure in WI, CA, FL, GA, WA, PA and DC or an applicable compact state of those listed.
Strong inbound and outbound telephonic skills, or the ability to quickly learn these skills is required. Must have both excelled clinical a! nd customer service skills, as well as strong critical thinkin! g skills. Must be detail oriented, organized, and have a technical aptitude. Understanding of change and the ability to move members along the continuum of change is required. Must have motivational interviewing skills and judgment appropriate to the situation. Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to influence and motivate essential to the role. Proficient use of a computer/keyboarding, intermediate use of Microsoft Office programs and electronic file/database management required.
National Career Readiness Certificate preferred.
