In conjunction with the Service Line Executive Director and Section Chief, responsible for the physician practice and ambulatory leade! rship of the Pediatric Neurology Section and Neuroscience ambulatory operations, finances, personnel and resources. Responsible for the day to day administration and operations of the Section. Responsible for maintaining an environment conducive to peak performance in all areas of operation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
In order of importance
1. Establish, coordinate, and maintain an organizational and operational structure for the Pediatric Neuroscience Service Line- Ambulatory Services and Physician Practice (s) which promotes the following:
- Provision of quality health care to children, adolescents and young adults, consistent with service line scope of services

4. Lead the development of operating and capital budgets for assigned cost cent! ers.
5. Partner with MCW Department Administrator; CHW Executi! ve Director, Ambulatory & Regional Services; CHW Director, Clinic Operations; and CSG Financial Director to establish and measure compliance with CHW/CSG/MCW System budget development, staffing models, productivity goals, and other common systems across physician practice and ambulatory services.
6. Participate in program planning and implementation activities in the ambulatory setting, with a focus on key diseases or modalities as dictated by the strategic plan.
7. Responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating personnel programs to promote the recruitment, retention, professional development, and continuing education of all Service Line and Section staff [specify]. Develop service line staffing plans and provide for human resource needs [specify].
8. Responsible for performance evaluation process for all Service Line ambulatory and Section staff [specify].
9. Develop strategies to promote customer service within the Section an! d ambulatory settings. Ensure the Section meets standards in service and quality.
10. Implement and monitor quality improvement activities for the Section and ambulatory settings consistent with CSG/MCW and the service line system improvement plans.
11. Build and implement communication systems and other strategies to foster employee and medical staff engagement and satisfaction.
12. Ensure compliance with CHHS, MCW, and CSG policies and procedures and with quality and safety standards established by The Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory and accrediting agencies.
13. Coordinate, plan and implement Sectionâs office activities and procedures.
14. Make recommendations for space and other resources needed by the Service Line. Coordinate renovation projects as needed.
15. Communicate College, Department, and Hospital policies and serve as a resource on these policies and procedures to staff and faculty.
1! 6. Represent the service line on College, Practice, and Hospital projec! ts and committees. Participate in activities that promote a positive image of the College and Health System and that support Foundation goals.
17. Maintains 24-hour accountability for ambulatory operations. Participate in Manager coverage rotation as needed.
18. Promote and maintain collaborative relationships with various individuals and groups, both internal and external. Work closely and collaboratively with Service Line Administrative and Physician Leaders.

1. Responsible for the tracking, maintenance, and implementation of the physician compensation/incentive plan. This includes semi-annual bonus distribution, monthly productivity monitor! ing, quarterly assessment of patient satisfaction survey results, and ongoing oversight of the referring physician survey process and results. Works with SL and MCW/CSG Leadership to evaluate the plan annually and to recommend additions/changes to the plan.
2. Oversee physician recruitment, onboarding, credentialing, and orientation processes
3. Participate in research revenue cycle management and execution of clinical trials in the ambulatory setting.
Qualifications
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on equivalent basis
Education:
Bachelorâs Degree in Finance, Management or Health Care required.
Masterâs Degree preferred
Experience:
5 years experience with a minimum of three years in management experience which includes supervisory and budget management, preferably in a health care environment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
! Understanding of financial and human resources related issues. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong critical thinking, problem solving and attentiveness to detail required. Ability to set and communicate priorities, effectively planning and organizing the work of the group. Leads by setting an appropriate example. Strong computer skills with knowledge of spreadsheet programs. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
