Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Description: Children's Hospital of Wisconsin is looking of Dental Assistant (Casual) right now, this vacancy will be reside in Wisconsin. Detailed specification about this vacancy opportunity kindly read the description below. Under the direction of the dentist, prepares for treatment, performs chairside four-handed dentistry activities to assist the dentist during examination and treatment of patients and performs sterilization functions in the Dental Clinic. Knowledge of basic dental care procedures.

Familiarity in basic dental clinic procedures, as can normally be acquired through completion of one year of training in a dental assisting program.

Twelve months dental assisting experience (and/or a completed clinical rotation within a Chidren's Dental Clinic). Proficiency in 4-handed dentistry, sterilization and x-ray techniques necessary.

Dental Assisting Certification and Pediatric or Special Needs dental assisting experience desirable.

Additional Posting Description
This is a CASUAL - "as needed" position. Individual will be assigned at least one 8-hour shift per pay period, but ideally seek individual available for additional shifts. Typical shifts would be sometime Mondays-Fridays between 8:00-5:30PM. No Weekends. Individual in this Casual position is assigned to cover open shifts due to employee sick time, vacation time, leave of absence, open positions, heavy clinic schedules, etc.

Could be assigned to cover at any one of the Dental Clinics in the Milwaukee Metro area as needed. Main Campus (Wauwatosa), Mid-Town (5433 W. Fond du Lac Avenue), Next Door (Metcalfe Park - 2561 N. 29th St.) and/or Downtown Clinic.
