We currently have amajority timeRegistered Nurse position available in the PACU (Recovery Room). As a nurse in the PACU Department you will also be cross trained to work in GI,Ambulatory Surgeryand on the Medical/Surgical Short Stay Unit. Develop, document and updates nursing care plans. Assess, formulate and implement patient and/or family teaching. Collaborate with other disciplines Be the Patient's advocate Work with age of patients from infant through older adultVariable shifts between 5:30AM and 6:00PM.
Call approximately once every two weeks during the week and every 9th weekend. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Recovery Roomexperience a plus. 2 years Medical, Surgical, ED or ICU experience highly preferred. Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or eligible to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS)certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)within1 year ofhire Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) within2 years of hire Basic computer knowledge Strong assessment and teaching skills Normal Weekly Hours-32(Part-time)Shift-Day JobJob-Staff Registered NursesPrimary Location-WI-Stevens Point-Saint Michael's HospitalOrganization-Saint Michael's Hospital
